For the fashionistas, Portugal is a valhalla.  Not only because the pleasant shopping centers are there, but in Lisbon itself there is also a large district (LX factory) that is all about fashion.

 

Even the cork industry contributes to the Portuguese fashion.  This goes from handbags, shoes to even clothing. It is an ecological alternative to leather.  It is certainly worthwhile to look into this.

South of Lisbon, on the Setúbal peninsula, large shopping centers are plentiful.
